Blogging and more…In Gumasa Islands
I was already convulsing in excitement. Gumasa Islands has “avoided” me (well, sort off) for three weeks in a row. Forget about the bungled the Marilog Trek Part 2. Mindanaw’s consolation of “you deserve someplace better…” did help, but just for a week. To top it all, Dabawenya Jud’s enticing invitation (vis a vis her superb pictures) only made my excitement close to pandemonium. More like gastronomic I should say.

So last Saturday, I went blogging to Gumasa Islands- and got the OMG of my eyes!
The white fine sands…
the seemingly endless coastline…

Gumasa Islands got it all. And It was just 3 hours from my place. It took me thirty years to discover such picturesque place.
Never mind that we passed through one foot deep mud and our car almost got stuck in it. Even the usually faithful Sedan went off road to satisfy his master’s whims.
And then there is the freak accident that luckily shattered one of our headlights, instead of our skulls. Made us all think, there is another chance after all. Mindanaw is right.

Yup, Doc Tess. This picturesque place is in Glan. From Gen San that’s around an hour and half drive. Then your eyes will feast on the grandeur of Gumasa beach….

Thanks, my pleasure to answer your referrals (wide grin). I’d put a link of your site to my other blog “The Orthopedic Logbook”. You should be seeing Gumasa Island soon. White haven, one of the beach resort there, is owned by another doc.
